Leadership & Institutional Experience

During his career with MCB Bank Limited, Muhammad Saeed Raja held senior leadership positions and contributed to major institutional and operational transformations. In recognition of his services, he was twice conferred with the President’s Excellence Award, in 2007 and 2013.

He brings the distinctive experience of the establishment and operationalization of MCB Islamic Bank Limited in 2015. Starting from the ground up, he devised the bank’s operational structure, systems, controls and governance framework. He subsequently served in senior executive roles until June 2026, including Group Head, Operations and Group Head, Back Office Governance & Special Projects.

Muhammad Saeed Raja founded InterLume Enterprises (SMC-Private) Limited as a natural progression of his long association with international trade.

His unique institution-building experience provides a strong foundation for his leadership at INTERLUME. His approach is guided by the same principles of sound governance, operational discipline and customer focus.

His vision is to build INTERLUME into a professionally managed international trading enterprise with a strong operational structure, a well-regulated environment and a customer-centric approach.
